Democrats Need to Stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The mormon church has been attacked for their stance on marriage, and their support of Prop 8 in California.  I am very discouraged that leaders of the Democratic Party in Utah have been very active in their campaign to discredit the mormon faith.  (Reps. Houck, Biskupski, Johnson, Seelig, and Sen. McCoy)  Those are the ones we know about.......It would be interesting if they would share with the State of Utah what ugly things they were saying about the church in their bullhorns.

Now the movement which is supported by these Democrats has crossed the line in sending white powder to these temples in hopes of intimidating the church.  When will these Democrats who are trying to whoo mormons (can't find the article, but there are plenty) to their side wise up and denounce these people and this movement?  Not as serious, but still disturbing is their crusade to boycott the state of Utah.  Although we don't hear our Democrat leaders trying to do anything to stop this behavior.  Why?  Because they support it with their whole heart.

It is plain to see why the majority of Utah mormons support Republicans.  The Democrats have said they share the same values as Utah mormons, but its clear they do not.  Very sad.

Looks like the Democrats called McKitrick again!!!

This is just silly.  Once again Cathy takes on another Republican.  I wonder if the Democrats bought the rights to this reporter?  I'm just too tired to write much more about this woman and the obvious bias she brings to the table each day.
I would hope the SL Trib would at least show some sense of integrity and throttle her back to three articles a week ripping on the Republican party.  Like I said before I'm sure the Demos will keep her on speed dial for the next few months.

Democrats: Be careful what you wish for......

The Democrats in Utah have long feared Romney would be picked as the V.P.  They worried Mormon fever would sweep through the state and make the voter turnout huge for Republicans.  Phew ... they barely dodged that bullet.

What they were not counting on is a woman being selected in the V.P. slot that speaks to all woman around the country.  My wife does not like politics, but the day Palin was picked she was speaking with all her female friends about the pick, and I could sense the excitement they had about the selection of Gov. Palin.  This is a woman they could all relate to on a very personal level.  (The Children, The Husband, The Career, and balancing lives struggles)

You are kidding yourself if you don't think she will have a tremendous effect on the races in Utah where white soccer moms rule the day.  She has already shown this effect on a national level, and I think it will be much more pronounced in conservative Utah were Mothers around the state will love the things Palin stands for.  She accounted for an almost 20 point swing in this demographic.  This is a huge swing in the number and shows the excitement women have for this fresh choice.  The reason I believe this will have a significant impact in Utah is the fact there are A LOT of white women in Utah who have been energized by this selection.

Democrats it time to worry about Palin and the very large coat tails she will bring to the races in Utah.  It will be a significant advantage for Republicans across the state on all levels.  Women voting for Palin will like her for her conservative stances on the issues, and will stay with the party that brought them this wonderful woman who shares their values.

P.S. Democrats ..  calling Palin a pig will do little to in dear you to the women in this state.

As if we need another reason

Barack Obama has an 80% approval rating in France.  That is all I needed to hear.  Would you like some wine and cheese with that.......chosen one?

Let me beat this dead horse

What is the deal with McKitrick and her anti-Republican ways?  I consider this woman an appendage of the democratic election machine.  I think there is plenty of proof of this statement.  Just look at my last two posts on my blog, or just read her last two stories yourself.  She really is out of control.  I would expect her editor to say something but he seems to have his own issues.

Well Cathy wrote in the Sl Trib blog today about the Bramble pizza girl incident.  Bramble is a bit of a goof sometimes, but if they (media) can beat a dead horse, then why can't I?  This is the third day in a row Cathy has beat on a Republican.  I'm not sure she could show her true colors any better.

I think its funny that Gene Warchol posted a similar blog about 3 hours before Cathy wrote her blog entry.  Way to get scooped by your own paper!!!  Cathy if you were not so concerned about slamming Republicans maybe you could spend a little time reading your own colleague's work.

Don't worry Cathy I'm sure the Democrats will give you plenty more stories for you to write about over the next few months.  Keep showing your true colors.

All Aboard

Well it looks like Cathy McKitrick is ready to start campaigning for Jay Seegmiller now.  I love how she takes all good things about Curtis and puts a negative spin on them for her Democratic buddies.  I think Olberman at MSNBC would be proud of her.  I wonder if Cathy believes the hype/hope that is Jay Seegmiller.

The Democrats want to talk about the experiance Sarah Palin does/does not bring to the office of V.P.  I would like to know what Mr. Seegmiller brings to the table?  Is it his years of telling passengers to get on the train?  Is he excellent at loading luggage onto a train?  Is it the fact he will be a complete lackey for the unions in this state?  What does he bring to the table?

Greg Curtis is one of the most powerful members of the State Legislature in Utah.  This is something his constituents should be proud of, and if not, should have the intelligence to understand what he brings to his district.

Electing Seegmiller would send that district back to the stone ages in terms of having representation up on the hill during the session.  The people of this district need to ask themselves if they really want another Representative like Rep. Hansen, D-Ogden.  (For those of you who don't know this guy he is clearly one of the least effective legislators on the hill.)  If you love Greg Curtis or hate him he is still an extremely effective legislator that brings plenty of good back to his constituents.

Greg has been almost single handily responsible for the sales tax being reduced on food as well as the lowering of the income tax level.  In just the past 4 years he has cut taxes by over 400 million dollars.  Why do we not know Mr. Seegmiller's stance on cutting taxes?  I know, because, he is against cutting taxes, and the author knew that would not look good for her candidate.

One last major piece that I believe was left out of this article on purpose as to not make Seegmiller look bad to the voters......Mr. Seegmiller is very weak on the issue of protecting the rights of the unborn as well as his stance on homosexual marriage.  I need to know where he stands on these issues, and please don't tell me its a question over your pay grade.

ALL ABOARD!!!!!!!!!!

Funny: What are your qualifications to be POTUS?

Cathy McKitrick continues on her path to discredit Republicans anyway she can.  See this article by one of the most obnoxious "reporters" out there.  www.sltrib.com/utahpolitics/ci_10392507

I love the fact that the only two sources McKitrick could find are heavy Obama supporters.  Way to dig deep on this one Cathy?  Maybe next time you could get Rep. Biskupski to speak on the virtues of Gov. Sarah Palin.

Why are Tony and Jeanetta so upset with the "put downs"?  Is it because McKitrick received a "tip" on how their feelings were hurt?  I think its because Cathy knew the Republicans made some major strides and choose to further fire up the Democratic election campaign tool better known as the S.L. Tribune.  I would also like to know if Mr. Miller called this reporter with this story and she willingly went along?

Getting back to the story I would like to know if they feel they are qualified to be President of the United States?  The only difference is they have spent a "career" organizing the community.  Barack hardly did any thing and they know it.  Still the important question here is...  What makes these two hurt souls so ready to be POTUS, because if their not ready than Obama is not ready either.?

Mr. Miller you need to understand there is no substance behind your candidate.  Questioning Barack's resume is completely legitimate.  If you think about Barack in a Utah context he would be.....?  Scott McCoy? .... Well he should be ready for the presidency any day now.  All he needs to do now is give a good speech.  (No offense to those who have given good speeches or talks at church)

Hello World, or more like, myself

I like to follow local (Utah) and national politics.  I'm going to try my best to express my views on what is going on in the world though my eyes.  I hope Bob Bernick does not mind that there is another blogger out here.  Like Bob I should be great at this stuff because I don't like to take notes either, and I'm at my best when I'm making stuff up.

Here we go!!!
